Help us turn today’s mystery into tomorrow’s discovery.

An organization the size of the Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy (TBRC) presents a diverse range of volunteer involvement opportunities. Currently our research is focused in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.  We prefer that our investigators be from these states; however, applicants from other states can still join the group and assist the TBRC toward its goals as an Associate Member.

Commitment and the ability to work as part of a team are the most critical traits for an applicant. For those interested in a more active role with the TBRC, helpful backgrounds include, but are not limited to, wildlife biology; zoology, primatology, or physical anthropology; photography; expert trapping, tracking or outdoorsmanship; military or investigative law enforcement; and EMT/nurses/medical doctors. Keen analytical skills are helpful. Applicants should be skeptical, but at the same time enthusiastic, inquisitive and open-minded.

Persons who are interested in joining the TBRC and assisting in field investigations in remote sites should be in good physical condition. They should also have the time and financial resources available to fund their own travel and equipment for investigation of eyewitness accounts and research in our study areas.  For individuals who may not be in proper health for field investigations, or who may not have the time or resources to devote to field investigations, the more supportive role of Associate Member may be more suitable.

If you are interested in volunteering to assist the non-profit Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy in an active role or as a more supportive role as an Associate Member, please fill out the form below. When finished, click the “submit” button so that we may contact you. If you have had an encounter, or know someone who has, please go to our report submission form and tell us about it.

Please understand that joining the TBRC in no way entitles you to represent the TBRC or to incur any debt, liability, or any other legal entanglement on behalf of the TBRC. The TBRC is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit scientific research organization and reserves the right to decline submitted applications without explanation.

Please tell us whether or not you have had, or someone you know has had, an encounter with a sasquatch/bigfoot
